Downstairs from Lanzarote Nonstop Divers dive centre, Playa Dorada offers ideal place to practice diving skill for beginners. Two manmade breakwaters protect the beach from current, shallow depth inside the breakwaters offer ideal condition for training. Don’t expect a much of sea life though…

No wildlife records found.
Due to a lot of people and sandy bottom without any places to hide, there’s not much marine life around. Some can be find hiding in cavities between breakwater blocks. Mainly small fish and crustaceans.

This small, sheltered bay is ideal for training, with calm waters and no current. The sandy bottom offers little in terms of wildlife.
