The high-energy environment attracts large marine species, providing excellent opportunities for underwater photographers and thrill-seekers. Jackfish Alley is famous for its abundance of marine life such as large schools of jackfish (hence the name), barracuda, trevally, and occasional tuna.
Reef Fish: Groupers, snappers, and colorful reef fish frequent the coral formations
Sharks: Occasional sightings of reef sharks and hammerhead sharks
Corals: Healthy hard and soft corals, sponges, and sea fans covering the reef walls
