Büyük Taş Koyu is a sheltered coastal dive site in Turkey, offering relatively easy access to the water and a combination of rocky seabed and sandy areas. The protected setting makes it a comfortable place to explore at a relaxed pace, particularly when conditions outside the bay are less favourable.
The dive is mainly about exploring the rocky formations and looking for marine life around the cracks, overhangs and sandy patches. The site is not about dramatic depth or big pelagic encounters, but it offers enjoyable Mediterranean diving with plenty to look at when you slow down and explore the reef.

When to visit
Best Time To Dive
The site can be dived during the main diving season, with the warmer summer months offering the most comfortable water temperatures. Conditions can vary with weather and local sea conditions.

Wildlife
Rocky Mediterranean reefs provide shelter for a variety of smaller fish and invertebrates. Look around the rocks and sandy areas for wrasse, damselfish, moray eels, octopuses and other typical Mediterranean reef life.
